(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Good news for pecan lovers. Oklahoma's pecan harvest is expected to be the eighth largest instate history -- tying 1997 for the most this decade. The Oklahoma Agricultural Statistics Service forecasts pecan production at 35 million pounds this year. The U-S Department of Agriculture says national pecan production is forecast at 324 million pounds.
