Its the time of year when we're reminded of people around us who are in need. Giles Coats For Kids is one way you can help. The program is sponsored by KOTV Channel 6, Yale Cleaners, and Catholic Charities to provide coats to people who need a little help staying warm this winter. They've given away many coats already, and their racks are getting bare. "It's progressing nicely, except we've had warmer weather and people just aren't thinking of coats,” said Catholic Charities spokesperson Hazel Leitch. “We've had approximately 600 donations of coats and we really need 6000 donations."

You can help by dropping off new or used coats of all sizes to any Yale Cleaners in the Tulsa area. They will clean and mend the coats. Catholic Charities will distribute them to the people who need them. You can drop off coats through the end of January.
