(Thursday night) as Drake defeated Nebraska 88-to-77 in women's college basketball action in Lincoln.

The Bulldogs extended a 41-to-38 halftime lead by outscoring the Cornhuskers 47-to-39 in the second half before three-thousand-46 fans at the Devaney Sports Center.

Erin Richards added 22 for Drake, which improves to two-and-three on the year. Haley Sames scored 13, and she and Carla Bennett both had 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs.

Brooke Schwartz scored 31 points to lead Nebraska, which evens its record at two-and-two.

Nicole Kubik and Charlie Rogers both scored 15, and Rogers had 20 rebounds for the Cornhuskers.
