Former heavyweight boxer Tommy Morrison has landed in jail, again. This time, the jail is in Arkansas.

Morrison is charged with public intoxication and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Tommy Morrison has seen his share of courtrooms over the past few years. He's has several charges against him, but has spent little time in jail. His last Tulsa courtroom appearance was in September where he was given a suspended sentence for drunk driving and traffic misdemeanors. The judge told him to be ready to go to jail if he got in trouble again, but that didn't stop him. Just a week after being placed on probation, Morrison was picked up in Arkansas and found to have cocaine, marijuana and a gun. He's set to face those charges December 21st. And now these latest charges will be added to the list.

He was arrested Thursday night after his wife's Corvette ran off an Arkansas county road and hit some trees. Morrison was apparently a passenger in the car, but fled the scene. He was later arrested at his home. He was taken to the Madison County Jail in Huntsville, Arkansas.

KOTV talked to the Tulsa judge who sentenced Morrison to probation In September. He said if the district attorney brings these latest charges to court, Morrison could end up serving his time in jail.
