The Oklahoma State Cowgirls basketball team defeated the Lamar Cardinals 68-to-49 today at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.
O-S-U shot 24-of-32 from the free-throw line, including a school record 12-of-12 by senior Jennifer Crow.
Crow broke the previous record of ten-of-ten set by Crista Troester in 1983. That record had been equaled four times.
Junior Tari Cummings was the leading scorer for the Cowgirls tonight. Cummings shot a game high 18 points and had eleven rebounds. Freshman Chantoya Hawkins had eleven points for O-S-U.
Despite the showing, the Cowgirls committed 26 turnovers. Lamar turned the ball over 28 times.
