Oklahoma Energy Resources Board elects officers

Randy Foutch has been elected the fourth
chairman of the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board.
Foutch is president of Lariat Petroleum in Tulsa. He was elected to a two-year term and succeeds Henry "Boots" Taliaferro.
James Bass was elected to a two-year term as the board's secretary. Bass is vice president of exploration and production for Apache Corporation in Tulsa. Vice chairman Jim Palm and treasurer Eric Koelling were re-elected.
The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board was created in 1993 by the Oklahoma Legislature and is funded through a voluntary assessment
on oil and natural gas producers and royalty owners.
It conducts environmental restoration of abandoned well sites and educates Oklahomans about the importance of the petroleum industry.
