Oklahoma senators voted twice today to
continue a filibuster on slimmed-downed campaign finance legislation.

Oklahoma Senators James Inhofe and Don Nickles voted with 44 other Republicans and one independent in the first vote, 53-to-47.

In the second vote, Nickles and Inhofe were among the 47mRepublicans and one independent voting against bringing debate on
the measure to a close.

Sixty votes were needed to overcome the filibuster.
