An Oklahoma State University student
walking from campus to a sorority house was grabbed from behind by a man but was able to escape when the man was distracted by someone coming out onto a front porch, police said.
Police Lt. Loyd Romine said the 18-year-old girl was attacked about 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The man wrestled the woman to the ground,
but she was able to break free when a neighbor came out onto a porch.
The woman had a scraped knee but was otherwise uninjured.
