Police are looking for two men who burst into Phill's Diner Tuesday afternoon, wearing ski masks and waving guns.
Phill's is located at 32nd and Harvard.
Witnesses say the men took cash and ran, but, left behind what looked like a bomb.
A bomb technician suited up and went inside the diner to take a picture of the device.
It was taped to a bottle of diesel fuel, had a circuitry board and a red blinking light.
They sent the bomb robot inside, which used its shotgun to blow off the device's power source.
After police and ATF agents took it apart, they learned it was a fake.
No one was hurt.
