Calling all actors. Hollywood's coming to Oklahoma this week in search of local talent.
The Oklahoma Film Commission says Lyman-Dayton Studios is holding an open casting call here in Tulsa for a new version of the film, "Where the Red Fern Grows."
The movie will be shot in eastern Oklahoma later this year.
The studio hopes to fill the role of a young boy aged ten to 13 plus male and female supporting roles.
There have already been casting calls in California, Utah, and also in Tahlequah.
The original film was also shot in eastern Oklahoma more than 20 years ago.
Auditions will be held this Thursday and Friday in the auditorium of the state office building complex in downtown Tulsa at 440 South Houston.
