OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A Southwest Airlines flight heading for Kansas City was delayed after the pilot smelled smoke in the cockpit.
The Boeing 737 took off from Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City shortly after 2 PM Sunday.
Airport spokeswoman Karen Carney says the pilot did not actually see smoke in the cockpit.
Once on the ground, all 83 people were taken off the plane and mechanics evaluated it.
The passengers were delayed in Oklahoma City for about 90 minutes before another Southwest plane was used for the flight.
