NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Cleveland County prosecutors say they plan to charge at least five more fraternity members with felonies in connection with last fall's alcohol-related death of a University of Oklahoma student.
District Attorney Tim Kuykendall says he won't file the charges until after next week's spring break. He also wouldn't release the names of those charged or say what the charges would be.
Nineteen year old Blake Hammontree of Medford died of alcohol poisoning in the Sigma Chi fraternity house on September 30th. One fraternity member, Cody Barrington of Southlake Texas, has been charged with furnishing alcohol to another underage Sigma Chi member on the night Hammontree died.
