FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) _ Cushing Municipal Airport in Cushing is the Federal Aviation Administration's Airport of the Year in Oklahoma.

The FAA presented awards to seven airports in its five-state Southwest Region during a conference in Forth Worth, Texas.

The Cushing airport is being recognized for what the FAA calls outstanding contributions to improve aviation and to assure future growth, safety and efficiency of national air transportation.
