A young boy found the knife Tulsa Police say was used to cut a little girl near an abandoned house in north Tulsa last week.

The girl was coming to the rescue of her sister and a friend after a boy had knocked them to the ground and jumped on top of them. She says that's when a second boy cut her twice on the chest.

The girls' mother says a little boy found the knife Tuesday morning and it was turned over to Tulsa Police.

Tulsa firefighters also boarded up the house to make it harder to get inside.
