Court records show former OSU football player Prentiss Eliott is the target of a death threat.

Tulsa Police affadavits say Elliott is a member of a new gang in Tulsa called G-Unit. The News on 6 first told you about G-Unit a couple of weeks ago when detectives connected them to a string of recent shootings, including the murder of a 16 year old girl.

News on 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright says th affadavits say G-Unit and the Hoover Crips are involved in a violent gang dispute.

Police say G-Unit members were the intended targets of three recent shootings. The first one happened on December 27th, where a man police say is associated with G-Unit was hit in the leg. The second shooting happened on January 25th, where one man was hit in the back and another hit in the leg, police say both are G-Unit. The third shooting was on February 12th where a G-Unit member was hit in the leg and a 16 year old girl, was shot and killed.

Lori Fullbright spoke with Prentiss Eliott's attorney Thursday afternoon. He says Eliott denies being in a gang or ever having been in one.
