A northeast Oklahoma community has a new hospital Sunday for the first time in more than three years.
The city of Drumright in Creek County dedicated its $8-million Regional Hospital Sunday afternoon.
The Drumright area has gone without a hospital since Integris Health ended its lease on a 39-bed facility back in 2001. The new 15-bed facility is 36,000 square feet and will employ about 32 people.
