WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ The Oklahoma City Blazers have moved into a tie for third place in the Central Hockey League's Northeast Division after beating Wichita 3-to-2 in a shootout.
Hardy Sauter scored the winning goal and goaltender Sean Connors stopped 30 of 32 shots for the win last night in Wichita.
Oklahoma City is now tied with Fort Worth for third place, two points behind second place Tulsa. The Oilers didn't play Wednesday night and trail first-place Bossier-Shreveport by 13 points.
Oklahoma City plays Friday night at Colorado while Tulsa is at home against Fort Worth.
