STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State freshman Ryan Vail has become the first cross country runner in school history to qualify for the US Junior National Team.

Vail finished sixth out of 62 runners competing in Vancouver, Washington, for a spot on the team that will compete in the world championships March 18th through 20th in France. The top six runners were named to the team.
