WNBA star to speak in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Two-time Olympic gold medalist and W-N-B-A star Lisa Leslie will participate in a celebration of women's sports clinic Thursday at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.

A member of the Los Angeles Sparks, Leslie will be one of the features speakers during the National Girls and Women in Sports celebration dinner.

O-U women's basketball coach Sherri Coale also will speak at the event.

The clinic also will feature O-U athletes from the basketball, gymnastics, track, soccer, volleyball and cheerleading games. It runs from 10 a-m to 2 p-m.

The dinner will be at 6-30 p-m. Tickets to the dinner are 55 dollars per person.
