An elderly Sapulpa woman was killed in a house fire late Monday evening. Firefighters were called to the home on West Taft a little after 10 PM Monday.
Firefighters say they never had a chance to save 82-year-old Wilma Donley, because the house was already in flames when they arrived. Donley's daughter and unidentified man were home at the time of the fire. They tried to help the woman, but were unsuccessful.
The Red Cross is providing clothing and emotional support.
