WARNER, Okla. (AP) _ Mike Gundy is now officially the head coach at Oklahoma State.

The school's regents meeting at Connors State College Friday gave their approval to the promotion of Gundy from offensive coordinator to head coach. Gundy has been serving as head coach since January 3rd when coach Les Miles left to take the LSU job, but approval from the regents is needed to make it official.

Gundy's salary hasn't been determined. He had a base salary of $151,000 last season and earned a total of $275,000 after incentives.

Miles was paid $900,000 last year, which includes a bonus for earning a bowl invitation.
