TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Lamisha Augustine scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as San Jose State beat Tulsa 61-to-53 in women's college basketball.
The Spartans held TU to 32-point-two percent shooting compared with its 45.8%.
TU trailed 31-30 at the half but took the lead on a layup by Becky Heidotten early in the second half. The Golden Hurricane built a seven-point lead but couldn't increase their advantage.
San Jose State got within two several times then took the lead for good on a Jessica Kellogg three-pointer with just over five minutes left in the game.
Jillian Robbins paced TU with 20 points and ten rebounds.
The loss drops Tulsa to 13-and-5 overall and 5-and-3 in the Western Athletic Conference.
San Jose State improves to 12-and-6 and 5-and-3 in the WAC.
