A Tulsa woman is safe after surviving an attempted abduction. For her protection, we’ll just call her Debbie.
She was at her south Tulsa apartment complex Wednesday night when a man ran up behind her, put her in a headlock and poked a gun into her side. He told her she was coming with him, but she said no and kept saying no.
Lucky for her, she was on her cell phone to her mother at the time. "He kept saying, don't call 911. I said the person on the other end of the line already did. And, he said call them and tell them not to come, you don't need them and I said yes, I do need them, I need someone to save me and he said no you don't."
Security guards at the Creek Casino grabbed the man and held him for police.
Debbie identified 29-year-old Christopher Calvert[pictured] as her attacker. Records show he's on parole for robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon.
