STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- A brief ceremony was held Thursday morning to mark the fourth anniversary of the Oklahoma State plane crash.
The January 27th, 2001 crash in Colorado killed ten men associated with the OSU basketball team, including two players.
The informal ceremony was in Gallagher-Iba Arena near the memorial of the kneeling cowboy. Athletic director Harry Birdwell and OSU President David Schmidly placed wreaths at the memorial.
OSU vice president David Bosserman placed a wreath at the memorial site in Colorado.
And at 5:37 PM Thursday, the time of the crash, the bell in OSU's library bell tower will toll ten times.
