Tulsa Police are investigating a Monday morning three car accident.

Investigators say a man exiting I-44 headed east on Highway 66 towards Catoosa lost control of his car and flipped.

A woman driving toward the accident crashed in the man's car. She suffered minor injuries and was able to get out of her car and check on the man, but when she got to his car, no one was inside.

Investigators believe the man fled the scene. A third car coming up on the accident was also involved.

Traffic was backed up for more than a mile.
