Sequoyah County authorities are investigating the death of two people, both found in their vehicles along a rural road near Sallisaw.

23-year-old Kevin Johnson and his estranged girlfriend, 20 year-old Amythyst Floresca, were found dead in their own vehicles at the same location. Johnson was found shot in his pickup truck. Floresca was found in her vehicle with a wound to her neck.

Investigators speculate that Johnson ran Floresca off the road and she hit a barbed wire fence, then he may have taken his own life.
