One man faces charges after taking Sapulpa Police on a chase in west Tulsa.

Authorities say it started as a routine traffic stop Tuesday morning in a motel parking lot. That's when the suspect sped off, taking police on a chase through the Town West shopping area.

The suspect wound up hitting the playground fence at a nearby McDonald's. The pursuit ended near 49th West Avenue and I-44.

No one was hurt.
