OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma City police are investigating two separate shootings in southwest Oklahoma City that left one man dead and a teenage boy injured.
Lieutenant Don Holland says police received a call about 7-10 p-m yesterday from a home in the 2200 block of Southwest 30th.
When police arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man -- whose identity has not been released -- later was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police also responded to another shooting earlier in the day. It occurred about 5:15 p-m in the 3100 block of Southwest 17th.
Holland says a 13-year-old boy told police he was walking home after playing basketball when a group of men began to heckle him. He says one of the men then pulled a gun and shot the boy in the foot.
The boy was taken to OU Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.
