OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Federal officials have arrested a man they believe is connected to a murder on Indian trust land.
FBI Special Agent in Charge Salvador Hernandez says officials arrested 48-year-old John Kent Red Elk in the death of 36-year-old Regina Dupler.
Officials began investigating Dupler's death this morning when her body was found near Cache.
Red Elk was arrested this afternoon on a federal homicide charge. The FBI is investigating the case because it happened on Indian land. The Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Comanche Nation Tribal Police are also investigating the case.
Red Elk is being held in the Comanche County Jail. He is expected in court on Monday in Lawton.
