BOSTON (AP) _ A student at a vocational training school has died from injuries he suffered when he fell from a third-floor balcony during a party at his apartment, authorities said.
Jacob Garro, 20, fell about 20 feet to a first-floor deck of his Boston apartment early Thursday while he and his roommates were hosting a party, police said. He died Friday at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Police seized beer and a keg tap from the scene and planned to charge four other residents of the apartment with supplying alcohol to minors.
Garro, of Mattapoisett, was attending WyoTech, formerly known as East Coast Aero Tech and based at Hanscom Field, a military and civilian airport in Bedford, about 15 miles northwest of Boston.
