Oklahoma may be the 46th state in the Union, but it's the 28th largest.
A US Census survey says Oklahoma remains the 28th largest state in spite of its slow population growth.
The state gained 17,084 residents between July 1st of 2003, and July 1st of 2004. That's a growth rate of one-half of 1%.
