WASHINGTON (AP) _ Securities regulators on Monday filed and settled charges against The Walt Disney Co. for allegedly failing to disclose details on transactions between the company and its board of directors between 1999 and 2001.
The Securities and Exchange Commission also faulted Disney for failing to disclose some compensation to a director.
Disney agreed to settle without admitting or denying the SEC's claims. The company wasn't fined but agreed to a cease and desist order.
