OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Funeral services will be Tuesday for a U.S. Marine from Moore who was killed in Iraq.

Services for Staff Sgt. Melvin L. Blazer will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Southwest Baptist Church, followed by burial at Resthaven Cemetery.

Blazer, a platoon sergeant, was shot and killed by enemy forces Dec. 12 in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.

Blazer was a 1984 Moore High School graduate and is survived by his parents, wife and two children.
