MEDFORD, Okla. (AP) A Medford teacher is being investigated for allegedly putting a nude picture and a vulgar word on an overhead projector during class.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation seized computers and interviewed teachers and students at the unidentified school yesterday.

OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown says the teacher allegedly opened a personal e-mail while a projector was still in use and displayed a vulgar word.

Brown wouldn't identify the teacher, but says the incident may fall under the lewd molestation statute.

Medford Superintendent Don Simmons says the teacher is no longer in the classroom and that school officials were cooperating with the OSBI.

Simmons says the district has an acceptable use policy that restricts school computers for the personal use of teachers and students.
