New developments in a murder case the News on 6 "first" told you about Thursday evening.

Tulsa Police say 19-year-old Ashley Clem is charged with the first-degree-murder of her baby boy.

News on 6 anchor Scott Thompson says Clem confessed to shaking and beating 21-month-old Isaiah. Tulsa Police say Clem offered up story after story until she finally confessed to the beating.

She told them the baby had taken off his diaper and made a mess late Sunday night. Clem says she then shook her son and beat him with her hands and a belt. Tulsa Police child crisis unit Cpl. Darin Filak: "his is an especially disturbing case due to the fact of the violence against the child. It's probably one of the most violent assaults we've seen in a long time."

The investigation into Isaiah's death is still going on. Police have also questioned Ashley Clem's boyfriend and they are still trying to determine if anyone else was at home when the abuse took place.
