OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Authorities say seven people have been arrested and three students have been suspended after a brawl following Tuesday night's basketball game between Capitol Hill and Southeast high schools.
Oklahoma City police say officer William Ricketts was punched in the face during a series of fights outside Capitol Hill High School.
A spokeswoman for the Oklahoma City School District says three Capitol Hill students were suspended for the rest of the school year.
Eighteen-year-old Jerry Graves is accused of punching Ricketts several times in the face. He was arrested on complaints of assault and battery on city officials, resisting arrest, obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct. Six other people were arrested on complaints of disorderly conduct.
Police are investigating whether the brawl was gang-related.
