The Thanksgiving Holiday weekend brings word of tragedy for a Tulsa family. They've learned their son, 19-year-old Jordan Winkler, died Friday while stationed at a hospital in Fallujah.

Winkler was working with the Bravo Surgical Company. The military is investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. Lance Corporal Winkler went to boot camp just after he graduated from Union High School in 2003.

His former wrestling coach says he was a hard-worker, honored for his dedication and school spirit. A family friend called Winkler a young man of great integrity.

Scott Richardson spoke for the family. "Jordan was a dedicated Marine who was proud to be in Iraq serving his country and doing his job as a Marine we will miss him more than words can say."

Winkler had been in Iraq since September. He served in the First Force Service Support Group. Winkler is the 21st Oklahoman to die in Iraq.
