Foggy damp weather causes a number of accidents early Tuesday morning. That includes one in a place that's all too familiar for emergency crews.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a pickup was going to fast on I-244 at the US Highway 169 interchange. He lost control and hit the guardrail, damaging his truck. No one was hurt.
Slick roads and alcohol may have led to another accident, this one on the Sand Springs Expressway near 65th West Avenue.
Tulsa Police say around 3 AM Tuesday, the driver was westbound on US Highway 64 when he lost control, hit a number of barrels and the center median. He came to rest in the eastbound lanes. He suffered a cut lip and was taken to the Tulsa County jail for driving under the influence.
