A quick-thinking Tulsa Police officer caught a robbery suspect and accomplice Thursday afternoon after a chase through south Tulsa.
The chase ended in a crash near 22nd and Yale. Police say a man went into the Federal Employees Credit Unit on 78th East Avenue and passed a note to the teller, demanding money.
Witnesses saw the robber leave in a green Camaro. Shortly afterward, Officer Rick Bondy spotted the car and tried to pull it over. That's when the chase started.
After the crash, a woman stayed in the car, but the man ran. Police caught him a short time later.
