BUFFALO VALLEY, Okla. (AP) _ Officials say a Buffalo Valley school bus driver who allegedly wrecked his bus four times last week has resigned.
Buffalo Valley School Superintendent Shannon Vanderburg says Charles Bray submitted his resignation on Friday.
About 30 students were on the bus when Bray began taking them home Thursday afternoon. Vanderburg says nine students were still on the bus when an eighth-grade student pulled the keys from the ignition outside her home.
The Highway Patrol says none of the students or Bray were injured.
Police say Bray allegedly hit a tree at his residence while driving the bus on Thursday afternoon. He later hit unoccupied cars at two different sites, and then struck a fence and telephone box a mile west of Yanush.
Bray was arrested on a complaint of driving under the influence.
