STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State officials say they've accepted the largest academic donation in school history.
In return they're proposing renaming O-S-U's college of business in honor of William Spears, the Texas businessman and O-S-U graduate who's making the donation.
O-S-U regents will consider naming the business school the William S- Spears School of Business when they meet December third.
O-S-U President David Schmidly says the amount of the gift won't be revealed, but he calls it ``significant.''
Spears lives in Dallas and Wichita Falls, Texas, and is a 1962 Oklahoma State graduate. He's the founder and chief executive of Energy Education Incorporated, an energy management company in Wichita Falls.
