NEW YORK (Dow Jones/AP) _ Oklahoma City based-Six Flags has reported third-quarter losses of 60%.
The amusement park company says cool weather hurt attendance at its parks.
Six Flags reported a net income of $56.4-million, or 53 cents a share.
That's down from $140.2-million last time this year.
Revenue slid 3.3% to $527.4-million from $545.2-million, as attendance slid 4.8%.
Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder has been accumulating shares of Six Flags since mid-August.
In filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Snyder has said he hoped to ``influence management'' to better maximize the company's value.
Snyder says he may encourage Six Flags to explore a possible merger, sale of its assets, consolidation, business combination or a recapitalization or refinancing.
