OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Republican leaders say they will push a pro-growth, business-friendly enviroment in the Oklahoma House.

Republican Todd Hiett is expected to be elected by his caucus today as the newest speaker of the House. Hiett says reforming the state's workers' compensation system and implementing more far-reaching tort reform are among his top priorities.

Governor Brad Henry says creating a business-friendly environment in Oklahoma has always been an important priority of his administration.

Henry says that won't change no matter who is leading the House.

A bill to reform the workers' comp system cleared the House last session, but got hung up in the Senate.

Republicans say a tort reform package signed into law earlier this year didn't go far enough toward limiting attorney fees and damage awards.
