OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Governor Brad Henry thanks voters for approving his education lottery, gaming and tobacco tax proposals.

At a news conference at the state Capitol Wednesday, Henry called the measures' passage an historic moment for Oklahoma.

Henry spoke with reporters a day after voters approved his agenda for raising new revenue for public education and health care. He says the challenge now is to implement nine successful ballot initiatives quickly, effectively and efficiently.

Henry also called on Oklahomans to unite following divisive political campaigns on the state questions and a Senate race that drew national attention.
