OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ An Oklahoma City man accused in the shooting of a teenager now faces a first-degree murder charge.

Oklahoma County prosecutors charged 27-year-old Cortez Lamont Franklin Monday in connection with the death of 15-year-old Marcus Dewayne Ivey.

Ivey was shot August 9th and died September 1st as a result of medical complications from the wound.

Officers arrested Franklin October 18th. He's been held in jail without bail ever since.
