Oklahoma voter turnout was higher than normal Tuesday and election officials say that was due in part to 200,000 new registered voters across the state. Many of those new voters were in eastern Oklahoma.
County election board officials said they stayed busy all day Tuesday.
In Tulsa County, election board officials said the phones were busy as well. Receptionists were busy answering last minute questions. Gene Pace with the Tulsa County Election Board: "The kinds of calls were getting are basically people looking for polling places and things like that. Just be patient and we'll get them the information they need."
