Oklahoma is expected to get a bigger share of federal money to help truck drivers prevent terrorism.
Oklahoma will get an estimated quarter of a million dollars for funding for the Highway Watch Program. That's up by about 25% over current funding.
It trains truck and bus drivers to watch out for suspicious activity. Drivers can call a 24-hour hotline and then law enforcement officers are notified.
Many drivers are interested in signing up for the program. Truck driver David Hill: "There's not a criminal, terrorist or whoever is out there that don't see a truck somewhere as the day goes by everyday. So there's truckers all over the country and they see everything."
