OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A house fire in northwest Oklahoma City has caused about $110,000 in damages and injured a firefighter.
Firefighters responded to a call at about 1 this afternoon after neighbors heard two explosions and saw smoke coming from the house.
Battalion Chief Tony Young says the fire was in the garage of the house and an attic above the garage.
Homeowner Murel Hall says he had been working on two cars in his garage before leaving.
Both cars in the garage, a 1966 Mercedes and a 1976 Chevrolet, were destroyed in the fire.
Young says a firefighter received an electrical shock while inside the house.
The firefighter's injuries were not life threatening, but he was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital for examination.
