A deadly accident shut down US Highway 75 just north of Okmulgee Thursday night.

Authorities say Bill Clairborne failed to yield in his pickup truck as it pulled onto the highway. It was hit by another truck.

Patricia Clairborne died at the scene. Bill Clairborne was flown to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the other truck was treated and released.
