CLEVELAND, Okla. (AP) _ A Pawnee woman is in custody for allegedly running over a Pawnee man three times with her car.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Grace Watashe and David Harjo were arguing inside the car when Harjo got out on US Highway 64 near Cleveland.

Troopers say Watashe then made a U-turn and hit Harjo, then backed the car over him, then drove forward and ran over him a third time before driving away.

Harjo is hospitalized in Tulsa in serious condition while Watashe was later arrested on an assault complaint by Pawnee County sheriff's deputies.
